Stream LE/FE 3.6 Update Now Available

A new update is now available for Digital Rapids' Stream software. Registered users of Stream LE or Stream FE version 3.0 or higher with a valid current Maintenance agreement can download the new version as a free upgrade from the Stream Support page of our website. Users of earlier versions of Stream LE, StreamPro and StreamEnterprise can purchase upgrades to Stream LE or Stream FE version 3.6.

Users upgrading to version 3.6 from versions 3.0 to 3.3 will require a new license key to run v3.6. Such users with current valid Maintenance Agreements should contact Digital Rapids Support for a new license key before installing the version 3.6 upgrade. Users currently running version 3.4 will not require a new key unless purchasing new options. Version 3.6 includes the following enhancements:
  • AC-3 (Dolby Digital) audio pass-through from SDI input sources with systems based on the Flux™ capture and pre-processing hardware
  • Raw ancillary data capture into GXF, MXF or standalone ANC file with systems based on Flux hardware (previously only available on earlier DRC-5600 and DRC-5650 cards)
  • Enhancements to the optional iPhone®/iPad™ encoding and segmenting module including FTP upload support
  • Microsoft® IIS Smooth Streaming: enhanced recovery if publishing point is restarted
  • Closed caption decoding from ancillary data track with GXF and LXF input options
  • New optional Dolby Digital (AC-3) decoder with Dolby metadata support Decoding of MPEG-2 files containing multiple audio tracks with differing format types
  • ASF script streaming now supports script command insertion into audio-only streams
  • Updates to the optional Nexguard (by Civolution) forensic watermarking module including support for Civolution's G2 technology (Stream FE only) Various fixes and refinements
